It's not the first time I've got flying support. Is it a bug or what I'm doing wrong, please?

Reduce the support pillar resolution to 1.0mm and the extra inflation distance to zero....and you'll get a better fit for the supports on this shape.

Thank you for reply. But I would expect S3D will solve my extra inflation requirement just like Prusa Slicer does. Thanks for considering this behavior change. Apparently I'm not the only one with such an expetation as I've found similar question here in one of the forum.
