Single layer rings around print where support structures start and end

Basically as the title says. I can get a photo if necessary, but everywhere that I have a support layer that either begins or ends, that one layer gets raised around the entire outside of the print. Really frustrating, and shockingly difficult to get cleaned up well (organic-style prints).

I need this to stop. Does anyone have any thoughts?
