Advice desperately needed. I upgraded my Replicator 2 this weekend with a heated bed so that I can help with printing the Prusa face shields in PETG.
The problem I have is that at the very start of the print the nozzle sits over the heated build plate and purges a blob before commencing the print. The nozzle all too frequently drags this blob over the plate and spoils the print. I would prefer to do a slow wipe at the start but don't know how to program this.

I got this from the internet, posted by some kind gent whose name I don't know.
The heated build plate is from IDE in Germany and is physically larger that the stock unheated bed. Its measurements are 318 x 156.
I'd like to get this sorted so that I can get on with printing the face shields so advice would be very much appreciated/
