Simplify3D User Forum

Hello all,

I'm new to this 3D printing thing and have been trying to change setting to understand how they affect different print qualities. I'm currently trying to change the extrusion multiplier in S3D and it is having absolutely no effect with my prints on a Anycubic i3 Mega S. I have changed the multiplier from 0.95 to 1.20 and I have exactly the same print. I have attached 3 photos with the range noted and you can see what I mean. Am I missing the secret handshake here? Any help is appreciated.

I can personally see some more over extrusion present in the top image. The Extrusion Multiplier is indeed made for fine tuning the print though so it is unlikely you would see large deviations in extrusion with such small adjustments. If you need to make large adjustments to your extrusion amount I would suggest setting the E-steps on your printer.
