I understand that in V4, rafts were changed so that there are now holes in the raft where they are not needed. Is there a way to change this so that it does print the entirety of the raft like it did in V3? I have a circular ring that I am trying to print. I am using the raft feature to print a 30% infill "grate" at the bottom of the print with the intention of including it in the final piece. I can not do this with V4 rafts. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this in S3D (without redesigning the part), or can this be added as a feature to V5 where we can toggle rafts with and without holes? Thank you.

Seems to me if you have the ability to alter the model to include a base (which is what it sounds like you want) then do so. You should not count on a slicer to make your model parts that are not part of the model. Slicers will change, your models should still print the same no matter what software slices it.
