hello. i have a bird feeder that has 3 parts to it, 3 meshes. they were all exported from my 3d program as 1 stl file.

i bring into s3d, separate connected surfaces. is it now possible to print just 1 of the 3 parts? i un-check 2 of the parts and they disappear. but when i center and arrange, all 3 parts affect the arrangement, it doesn't just center the 1 part in the center of the building plate.

also when i hit prepare to print, the layer view shows all three parts. thnaks.

I think you need to crate a process for each part.

Make a new process, then click select models and pick just one model for each process.
Then when you prepare to print, you choose which processes to print.
