Skirt shape request

I would like an option to print a simpler skirt which is a smoothed out version of the perimeter shape. I have had problems with a complex skirt crossing over itself in tight corner. Also when multiple parts are printed the option to have one overall smoothed skirt created rather than a separate one per object.

One of the reasons these would be helpful is they would make first layer bed tuning a bit easier. Also I find a shape with corners or where the extruder moved without laying plastic make it harder for the skirt to stick. These would not replace existing functionality but could be check boxes to control the behavior.

Thanks for considering this!

Annoying having the nozzle run into the raft or skirt when it overlays itself

I'd like to see a skirt option like Slic3r does it, where the skirt is around all the objects at once rather than around each individual object. This is more efficient and less likely to cause problems with strings or dragging.

Have you guys tried increasing the skirt offset amount? it seems to do exactly what you're asking.

Thanks, I'll try that. It does reduce it to one skirt, but only when the individual pieces are close to each other. I also don't need to skirt to match the outline of the pieces so closely. I'd be happier with just a big loop around all the pieces. Faster that way too.
