Avoid travel over supports?

Wed May 20, 2020 1:55 pm

Did a search, but don't see my exact question, which is yet another NOOB question.

I had S3D automatically generate supports for a print due to overhangs, and the first 3 layers went down fine. However, after that, the nozzle is dragging (wiping) across the zigzag structures printed as supports. I have WIPE turned off and clicked the box to avoid printed areas, but when I print, the nozzle is dragging and then pulling the print off the bed.

Tried to find the exact language, but since my last print, S3D is giving me issues that is another post to Tech Support.

Is there something I can add to the slicer gcode or box that I can mark/unmark that will ensure that the nozzle is not ripping the print off the bed?

Thank you
