New nozzle - nothing printing :(

Just installed a new (1mm) nozzle and im trying to do a calibration print.
But when I prepare to print theres nothing there and the print time is zero.

Ive setup the nozzle diameter in the settings and changed my later to 0.5mm (also increased temp and print speed)
But the preview is empty. Im sure im just missing a setting I need to change - but cant figure out what.
I even tried increasing the height of the calibration model - still nothing.

Its almost impossible to guess a solution to such a problem.

I can get it to print - it just wont print this - which suggests my settings are not correct.

Printed "calicat" and it came out pretty poor so I adjusted some of the retraction and speed settings as suggested in the various troubleshooting sections and it looked much better. But its pretty small and didnt expect it to look as good as a print with a .4mm nozzle and .2mm layers.

Tried something larger and the infill was very poor -so going to try reducing speed a little more.
But none of the above explains the issue I have here.

With a nozzle of that size, you're entering the realm of "thin walls"!!!

Change the thin wall behaviour (Advanced tab) to allow single extrusion walls for both internal and external walls, and the single extrusion min length to zero.. Also make sure the min and max printing widths are within the range of both your nozzle and what you're printing.

Ok, thanks for the info.

It might come to naught - cos yes - they will surely be chunky. But I thought I would have a dabble.
