Simplify3D User Forum

I have a printrbot simple metal and the printer will not utilize the full bed length. I have close to 300 mm of length but it only uses 150mm. I have made the numerical change in the g code section of the print settings but the printer will not print on the whole bed. when it reaches its limit the printer head just stops and continues to extrude filament. there is not a catch in the bed or motor because it will move freely. Does anyone have any ideas on what i should try?

Did you adjust the firmware settings, does your printrbot "know" it has a bigger bed now?

Looks like this can be done by sending a M211 X/Y300 (X/Y Axis, 300mm*), followed by M500 (save) and M501 (readout, check if setting is saved)
