FlashForge Adventurer III - Z OffSet

Hi,

I got a brand new FlashForge Adventurer III and printing with no issues using FlashPrint. Trying to move to Simplify 3D and it is failing 100% of time, the extruder is to close with bed. I believe the issue is the Z offset.

I did a calibration of printer manually (using LCD) and the level now is -0.5.

I tried changing in G-Code tab, manipulating the Global G-Code Offsets to +0.5mm but no effects.

I have two questions:

1) What setting I have to apply in Simplify 3D to avoid the extruder getting to close with bed?
2) Does simplify 3d supports controlling FlashForge directly using network (ip control) ?

Thanks,
parallyze

Re: FlashForge Adventurer III - Z OffSet

Adding a factory file might be helpful (File -> Save Factory File) here to have a look at your profile settings.

At what point is the nozzle to close to the bed, is it when the printer starts printing the object or is it a bit earlier,
maybe when some kind of "purge line" is supposed to be printed?

GCode offsets won't be applied to something like that inside the start scripts.
