Oozing? Bridging? Need help!

Hello there!

Having some issues with printer that I cannot figure out.

See the image below, printed with and without support. Is that Oozing? or bad bridging? ( I am new to this, apologies in advance)

Nozzle Diameter: .40 mm
Extrusion Multiplier: 0.96
Extrusion Width: .50 mm
Retraction Distance: 1.00 mm
Retraction vertical lift: .5 mm
Retraction Speed: 6000 mm/min

Primary Layer: 0.2000 mm
top Solid Layers: 5
Bottom Solid Layers: 5
Outline/Perimeter Shells: 2

Temperature:
E - Layer 1 = 210
Bed = 60

Cooling - 100% from layer 1

Default Print: 2400 mm/min
Outline Underspeed: 30%
Solid Infill Underspeed: 90%
Support Structure Underspeed:80%
X/Y Axis movement Speed: 6000 mm/min
Z Axis Movement Speed:1002.0 mm/min

Advanced:
Only retract when crossing open spaces
Force retraction between layers
Only wipe extruder for -outer-most perimeter

This is neither oozing or bridging...

Ooozing is too much plastic being extruded at points where there are direction changes, etc....and bridging is a technique to ensure gaps over fresh air in straight lines (think of a rope bridge between two sides of a canyon) can be bridges by stretching the extruded filament slightly. Only works with STRAIGHT lines!

It looks as though you're not getting adhesion when laying plastic down on top of another layer. The extruder is trying to lay down plastic in a curved path...and its not adhering and "pulling" to a straight line.....like how sticky glue tends to form stretchy strings!

You're probably trying to extrude too much at too low a temperature. An extrusion width should not really be more than 1.2 times the nozzle width, and your temperature may be too cold..

It impossible to tell from the photos, but if the underside of the part is domed, then more support is needed.

Hint for future posts.....attach a factory file!

thanks for the response.

I have a .4 nozzle and my extrusion width is set to .50. Didnt change that, but I did increase the temperature to 210, and lower the fan to 50% during the whole printing process and lower speed to 2400/mm/min.

Didn't get better results. it looks the same.

Simply attaching a factory file would allow others to have a look at the settings, part orientation and so on....

Edit: Looking at the gcode I don't think you'll come away without supports. Looks like ~60° overhang all around. Also the "boxes" on the outside aren't supported in any way...

Adding a chamfer to the boxes would avoid the need for supports there. And if dimensions allow for it you might avoid supports on the inside by adjusting the angle from ~60° to ~40-50° (depending on cooling and other print settings).

There's absolutely nothing to support the perimeters, they're just printed mid-air.

Flipping the part upside down and modifying the outsides only to avoid supports might work also.

Tried a change of 180 degree wit supports on the corners. Results aren't pretty.
