Supports issue

So I have a supports issue: I only need 2 tiny parts supported in this print. I end up with two thin supports that just end up failing and breaking. It’s almost as if I need the supports to have a larger base or footprint? But no idea how to do that? Or if it’s possible?

You can improve the strength of supports by introducing a pattern of support direction in the profile.

Go to the Support tab and look for the Support Infill angle entry panel bottom RHS.

Enter a list of angles, such as 0,0,90,0,0, or 45,-45,45,45,45

Note that changing the support angles may improve the supports created....

Other variables to change are adding 4-6 supports base layers or increase the resolution of the support from 1mm to 2mm. You can also add additional manually supports next to the auto generated support. Support are kind of an art form.. more than a science..
