Printer head clogged!

Has anyone any tips/suggestions how to clear this mess? Printer is a Flashforge Dreamer. The print came away from the baseplate half way through and went undetected for a while!

Re: Printer head clogged!

Hi Les

Set your nozzle temp as high as you can get it and heat soak things for a while ( use the filament change process to do the heating) ....then gently attack the softened plastic.

And good luck! I had this once.....and removing the glob snapped the thermocouple wire!!

Re: Printer head clogged!

Hi Doug,
Thanks for the tip. It took a while to get all the pla off the head. It had even gone down a cooling duct! A bit of dismantling needed and it was easier to sort out with the printer upside down! All working again now.
