How to modify the settings that are connected to material or quality presets is covered in full in this post. Adding First layer height to each of the Auto Configure for Quality settings groups seems to be all that is required.
The first layer height determines the thickness of the first layer printed on the bed. If you were using a layer height of 0.1mm, for example, you might set your First Layer Height to 200% to print the first layer with double the thickness at 0.2mm.
Just want to mention that V5 has a new feature that lets you define which settings are changed by the Print Quality selection completely in the UI. There is a new visual editor where you can easily assign settings to either Quality, Material, or even new categories that you create.
You can access it by clicking the "..." button to the right of your profile name and choosing "Assign Settings to Categories".
