I own a Rep1 and a Rep2/HBP

I now have two printers. I can see changing the processing profile for each but do I also change the firmware configuration each time too? My gut says yes. So is the a way to have one or the other start via a shortcut? (winblows64) I have a feeling I'm going to forget one of these times. What would be the outcome in both possible scenarios?

For this case, you would have to switch the firmware configuration each time. I know that there's been a feature request for the firmware configuration to be linked to the profile kind of like the Machine Definition section.

However, when you do the Configuration Assistant(Help-->Configuration Assistant), the firmware will automatically be adjusted in the Firmware configuration. This won't help in your case though since the Rep2 with an added heated bed will need to be selected in the firmware configuration assistant.

you could always save a factory file for each one, associate the factory file with s3d, and have the two on your desktop and open one or the other depending on which machine you plan on printing on

I was trying to think of a simple way to do that. But so far it defaults to the last configuration. I'll just remember to change both each time.
