Simplify3D User Forum

I have what was originally a Leapfrog creatr but it's been heavily modified over the years. The build volume has been set to X;230, Y;260 and Z;200mm. I now want to increase Z so the table drops 202mm from the home position. I have changed it in the G-Code machine settings but it doesn't physically travel further. I've tried numerous times.

The Profile set is 'Leapfrog Creatr Dual' and I have a new process name. The G-Code tab has 'update machine definition' ticked.

Am I doing something daft? What am I missing here?

Update machine definition will not modify the actual firmware on your printer. Your printer likely has a software limitation of not being able to travel more than 200mm in Z. I would contact the manufacturer for assistance with making firmware modifications.
