Duet + Reprap firmware

Hi there, I've got Simplify3D working now I've relocated the printer, so it's running off my main PC. My initial impressions are very positive, particularly like the way it prints support, I'll be putting a picture over on the reprap forums about it, because it is magical just pulling a fully formed perfect little plug out of a screw hole!

So my question. I've got a Duet+Duex board laying around waiting for something to go in. Does Simplify support it? As I've never used the Duet, I'm not sure what "support it" involves, but I'm slightly unwilling to commit time to playing with it if my new favourite thing, Simplify doesn't work with it

Which firmware runs on the Duet? If it supports the traditional commands and responds with the proper responses, it should be able to work properly. If you find that it uses some other communication protocol like saying something other than the traditional "ok" on the successful receiving of a serial message, try going to Tools > Firmware Configuration, but you may not need to if the firmware for the duet communicates like the traditional firmwares

Duet runs "Reprap" firmware. I don't like the name either, but it was originally written by Dr Bowyer, so I guess he gets dibs

I posted on the reprap forum as well. The general consensus is that you slice and dice with Simplify and then upload via the Duet's web interface, so it's not a direct win, but it's sufficient for my needs. of course having a web server built in with an ethernet port means most of the hassles with SD cards and so on are moot anyway, so direct control isn't strictly necessary as you can do it via its web server.
