Simplify3D User Forum

I got this file from thingiverse and when I generate a support in cura or pursaslicer it generates correctly automagicly when I try with S3d it does not seem to generate the support to hold the top spring. I tried to make one manually and it printed a mess

Any help, direction would be appriciated.

I am using a Creality CR10v3 printer.

It looks like the overhang on this part is quite small. I had to reduce the Support Pillar Resolution (Edit Process Settings > Support) to 1.00mm to get support to generate.
