Feature request: option to reimport model

Hi All,

It would be very good if there was an option to reimport a model when its stl has been changed. At the moment, when I change a model's stl, I have to remove the model and then reimport it which loses any scaling/positioning/rotating I may have done to the model. So a simple menu option or button to reimport the selected model would be great.

Cheers,

Mark

+1 - I do a lot of fidling with original STL file and then checking how it slices. (enjoying the fast slicing of S3D!)

Ditto!

To go one step further, it would be awesome to have auto-reload. That is, if the file is re-written it should (optionally) be reloaded automatically. This would make the modeling/slicing workflow frictionless!

What i do a lot is model, load into S3D, slice and preview, tweaking the model and settings until it slices well, then I print it. The more that process is automatic, the better. What I'm imagining is that when I tweak and re-export a model, it would automatically reload in S3D (with current position, rotation, scale, settings, etc.) and then I can re-slice. That'd save a bit of work!

+1, popup a window that says "file on disk has changed, do you want to update?"
