Printing from SD...Shutdown Creator?

If we are telling the printer to print from SD, why does Creator still need to be running?

I thought it didn't work that way and shutdown Creator (to update the software) and the print immediately stopped....

Is there no way to print to the M2 with Creator kicking off the job and then being shutdown?

I just unplug the usb cable. No Problems.

Then I can take the laptop to a different room while it prints.
