Bridging: the layer is not flat

Hi,

I am a newbie with 3D printing, I have an Anycubic Chiron and one model was not printed right. I just check the "Print Quality Troubleshooting Guide", but I could not find any help. I think that it could be a bridging problem, but the distance between the two points is only 4 cm.

Could anyone help me find why is the top not flat, like the bottom? It should be cimetrical.

Many Thanks!

Re: Bridging: the layer is not flat

you need to activate "supports" on your S3D profile, this will add removable supports to stop your roof drooping down like that.

Re: Bridging: the layer is not flat

The troubleshooting guide does have advice, but not a lot of specifics.

The ALL3DP blog goes into more detail about what specifics cause bridges to fail in certain ways:
https://all3dp.com/2/bridging-3d-printi ... t-bridges/

This Machine Bros blog has a very comprehensive guide to the different bridging settings and what they affect.

That part has a challenging bridge, so consider one or two very small manual supports as well.
