The problem of leaking water

Hello friends. I have a problem. The liquid is leaking water from somewhere on the base of the soap dispenser, and I haven't been able to solve it. Even though I made the bottom thick, it's leaking water from somewhere again.

I'm a bit of a novice in this business, I'd appreciate it if there are friends who can help me. I would appreciate it if you could tell me in detail about how to do it.

Re: The problem of leaking water

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printing is naturally porous unless you have ALL your parameters absolutely perfect. Even then, I doubt you can reliably print something that won't leak.

If I need something that is truly leakproof, I seal the print when I'm done. For PLA, I use something called Penetrol. It takes a while to dry, and may take more than one coat. I mostly use it to seal prints to make them easy to clean, or so I can use a marker to highlight text without it spreading into the print.

You can also spray it with any of the sealants you can find in a hardware store. A nice shallac should work. Be aware that polyeurothane melts PLA slightly, so you may want to stay away from them. Alcohol based items are no issue, though.
