And they just added a feature we've had forever!

god dammit, i came here precisely because I just got the cura 5.0 beta notification

aw man... ya got me.

I occasionally get on here to see if the myth of version 5 ever comes true, even though I have moved on to using PrusaSlicer which gets updated routinely. But I will say this gave me a good laugh. Best post of the year!!!

I was also looking here because I heard the Cura news. Below is a link to a a news story from February claiming S3D v5 is actually coming. Interesting, but also 2.75 months old at this point:

That site has been claiming S3D v5 for 3 years. I even wrote the author of the articles asking if he knew any more about it coming out and he put out another article referencing my questioning if it will come out here.

You would think after being burned so many times by stating it is coming out and the company not saying anything they would not print anymore until something was released. I now avoid that site because I do not trust it. But, to be honest, I never even knew about the site until I did a Simplify 3D search.
