[ADDED] Dremel 3D45

Dremel states that Simplify3d is a supporting Software package, and Simplyfi3D states that Dremel 3D45 is a 'supported' printer, yet is this only through thumb drive transfer? None of USB, wired Ethernet or Wi-Fi paths seem to be supported.

I saw another post from 20221 about USB driver not being 'blessed' by Microsoft yet, but that seems rather odd in 2022!

Re: Dremel #D45

As far as I am aware Dremel still does not supply or offer drivers for the 3D45 so it is not able to communicate via USB.

I would be happy to send a request to our development team for network printing with this printer though!

--> I reached out to Dremel -- they have licensed off their 3D printer line to 3PI and indicated that 3PI would be the team to work with. Happy to help be a BETA tester for this if we can move forward in some way. Networking printing would be awesome.

Network printing works well with Dremel's SW so the network path is definitely realizable -- I think 3PI just needs to enable you with the the API.

Re: Dremel 3D45

Happy to tell you that the S3D V5 can now communicate with the Dremel 3D45 over WiFi. That means you can monitor and print directly from S3D wirelessly to the machine. This should make things much easier than the old process in V4!
