Re: Simplify3D V5 no longer useable for RC airplane prints

Here is the stl for the part I've been using for testing.

What is the sliced part supposed to look like? I did a check on the file and it has many errors and is 23 shells.

I've tried slicing in three slicers and get the same result in each.
Is there some specific settings they recommend?

I got it to slice in V4.1.2 but not in V5.

Here is something to try. Keep reducing the extrusion width, like 0.4 to 0.39 etc., and see if the parts show up at some point. this would indicate that the walls are very thin. Maybe it is a start.
I can try that but the models are designed for a specific line width of .42mm
Change minimum single extrusion width to 50% or lower.

I tried it at 1% and it still doesn't slice correctly.

This is what it looks like sliced in PrusaSlicer.

PrusaSlicer and Cura both can slice it properly with some settings adjustments.

Re: Simplify3D V5 no longer useable for RC airplane prints

Based on this thread, it sounds like it is still working correctly in V5:
