Custom Support Shapes
Supports can now be defined based on a custom 3D model file, unlocking new capabilities for even the most complex prints.
Can someone explain what this feature is?
1) does it only mean I can import a STL and define it as support (Import Model -> right click on imported model -> change model type -> custom support structure)
2) does it mean we can edit support - place them and move the anchor points instead of just vertical default supports? Like it is possible in a lot of free slicers - especially resin ones (e.g. Chitubox etc)
Also, are there plans for more advanced support such as tree or organic supports (available in free slicers since quite some time)?
Thanks
