V5.01 ????

Ok, in 2016 when V4.00 came out, they released V4.01 in 3 days to fix all the bugs in the release. Then Released 4.05 a few days after that to fix all the bugs they thought they fixed in 4.01.... This kept going until 4.12 when they stopped working on V4 entirely.

Now history repeats itself....again.....

So when are you going to release the 5.01 version to fix all the bugs in this Beta version of 5.00 ????

The 5.0.1 release is already being worked on now. Sounds like it will have several nice bug fixes for a few of the issues identified during the past week.

Chill, my dude.
This is how software works, and I think S3D's activity in the next days and weeks will be the thing that either rebuilds or destroys this last chance at trust.

Re: V5.01 ????

I know the mods have been criticized about removing posts. But this is a textbook example of a post that should be removed. Unhelpful, just useless ranting.

If they want to push out a nightly or weekly build I am totally fine with it. I'll stay on whatever the latest stable is. I keep every version in case I need to downgrade to an unforeseen bug. Other slicer programs drop too many fubared updates too quickly. If anything I'd prefer spaced out, well tested revisions.
