As can be seen from the attached image, my prints suffer from large gaps in the layers (blue arrows).

At the same time, the layer does not reach the edges (red arrow).

It's a problem that I haven't had before and I don't know what settings might have changed.

The diameter of the extrusion at filament load is 0.4 mm, as is the nozzle.

I attach the factory file as well.

Would someone be so kind as to help me: which settings do I need to change how much?

This looks like it has little to do with slicer settings and more to do with getting your bed leveling. What is the printer/leveling system and you will get some better advice!?

Extrusion Multiplier = 1.00 maybe a tad higher
Extrusion Width= Auto
First Layer Height = 100%
First Layer Width = 150%
You might need to back your infill tab % down.

Interesting... I had a look at your factory file to gain a better understanding of your setup.

Based on what I'm seeing in the photo, my initial suspicion is that your nozzle is too far from the bed
(which would explain the wide gaps on the first layer) as your start GCODE puts the nozzle @ 0.3mm
away from the bed when you're printing @ 0.2mm/layer.

For snits and giggles, you can re-level/tram your bed and change your start GCODE offset from 0.3mm
to 0.24mm and then run print and check the first layer.

I find that I get the most accurate bed level/tram when I use a 0.2mm feeler gauge then add a 0.24mm
offset in my start GCODE. That way, I get a nice first layer and minimize the elephant's foot that comes
with it (plus, there are no gaps between extrusion lines).

Lastly, I did notice that your infill extrusion width is 200% (wow, that's massive!!! maybe set it to 125%/150%???)
and your outline overlap is @ 20% (reasonable, but you may want to try to bump it up to 30%) <-- but try
this after you've made the GCODE changes & such.

Keep us posted as to how that works out for you...

Plus I'm sure that others will have other suggestions for you as well.

Do you have also Simplify V4 running ?
If yes - try the same story with Simplify V4.

If that is working - the save those settings into a factory file (V4: Save factory settings)
Import those into V5 and try again.

I detected - that
- Setting the same values in V5 as in V4 will produce different results - even the settings are 100% equal.
(you can easily detect this by checking the print time. In V5 it is still 2-3 times bigger).
- only by importing of factory files - the print time is now close to V4. (V4 is still showing less print time, than V5 but it is about 10% more .. or so)

I changed the following:

Global GCODE-offset Z: From 0.00 to 0.15
Extrusion multiplier: From 0.95 to 1.00
Infill outline overlap: From 20 to 30 %.

That helped a lot.
I think that I cannot expect the parallel strings to be completely connected, right?

I attach the revised factory-file for your information.

Thanks for the updated factory file... looks good except for the fact that you've now moved your nozzle from 0.3mm
above the print bed to 0.45mm....

If you look at your GCODE script, I've highlighted the initial 0.3mm offset that you've applied. As I'd previously suggested,
you should change that to 0.24mm after re-tramming/levelling your print bed.


The other thing that jumped out at me was the global Z height offset you've applied... reset that to 0.00
Once you've done that, generate the GCODE and run the print. You should have a significantly better first layer "experience"
