Very odd slicing behavior when printing a mesh like structure

I tried to print this model:

Simplify is slicing it like this:

Cura would slice it like this:

I already tried a lot of different settings in Simplify but the slicing behavior is always the same.
I even tried to reduce the Nozzle size and the extrusion with to 0,1 but the outcome is the same.
