Default Print Speed is way off...much too fast.

I'm having an issue and can't seem to solve it. I've attached an image that shows a part to print (Image 1). I've set the tab 'Other/Default Printing Speed' to 1000. However when I slice, the print speed for infill is over twice as fast as can be seen in the color coding. It's not just a preview malfunction, it is the case if I try to print. I discovered it while trying to print at 3600mm/min. The infill speed was 7200 or more and my extruder could not keep up with it and the bobbed bolt ate through the filament. I've posted a capture of that too (Image 2). You can see the red color is way overspeed.

I've modified every setting I can find. I can't seem to equalize the print speed. What could cause this?

Is it possible it's thinking those areas are unsupported so it's using the bridging multiplier? Try setting the bridging speed multiplier to 100 and if it slows it down then look at the model more closely. Maybe the surface the support it being printed on isn't flat. If you post the model or a factory file we can look at it more closely.
