Yes I am sure they do not want to bring it back as it messes with the way you can now map controls to suit your CAD preference but the reality is all other packages make you learn thier controls. (probably so they dont have to remove features)
I am still yet to actually use v5 for a print as there are too many features missing.
You can open your v4 factory file and it will apply custom infill angles but not allow you to modify them.
Custom support angles do not come over though.
