Keyboard to move object stopped working

I've been using 5.01 without issues since it came out but today the keyboard shortcut, ctrl-right mouse, stopped working to manually move objects. I can use the move functions, both in the panel and the icon that turns on the arrows for moving. It's just the keyboard command that is stopped working.

I've reloaded V4 and the ctrl-mouse button still works in that version,

I've rebooted my machine, desktop running the latest Windows 10, no change.

I've reset all S3D short cuts to their defaults, no change.

I turned off the option to restore the latest factory file. no change

Sample factory file:

The last thing that I did before the problem was to import two stl objects and group them together. One was a 3-D object and the other was a plane with no height, but used for angle positioning. I deleted everything in the factory file but cannot seem the get back to 'normal'.

The keyboard modifiers/shortcuts that we had in v4 were removed in v5. Many of us have complained about it.

Hopefully in the next "bug fix" release (which S3D says is coming soon) those keyboard modifiers/shortcuts will be reinstated.

The shortcuts are different now in V5. If you want to move a model just press 'W' once on the keyboard and then move it with your mouse. You can move the model as much as you want and then just press 'Q' when you are finished.

In V4 you had to hold Ctrl every time you wanted to move the part, which meant pressing it 10 times if you wanted to make several small adjustments in a row.

You can follow the same process for scaling with the 'E' key, or rotate with the 'R' key.
