Settings are NOT remembered across instances

When I make changes to a profile the changes WILL NOT save most of the time. I click "update profile" and it appears to work but this is usually ignored. when I reopen S3D it has reverted. the only way to assure its saved is to save as new profile then delete the old one. rather annoying.

UPDATE profile update seems to be intermittent. sometimes it does sometimes it does not. trying to see if I can create conditions to make this reproduceable.

also when I goto slice preview it does NOT remember that I selected to show tool head travel moves and retractions. it remembers per session but when I close and reopen this is forgotten and I have to select them again.

I just tested this about 10 times on two different computers and I was never able to get it to work incorrectly. It correctly updated the profile each time and remembered those changes when I restarted S3D. So not able to reproduce it on our end.

Does anyone else have this problem?

If it keeps happening, it might help if you describe your setup in more detail. What OS version are you using? Maybe share the exact profile you are editing, and what exact setting and value you attempt to change. A short video could also be a big help in case there's specific mouse clicks required to make it happen.

I also can not duplicate it. it might be a combination of me JUST upgrading to 5.02 and me forgetting to click update profile. ie user error. it did it in 5.01 but 5.02 seems to have fixed it.

Not remembering that I selected the check boxes in slice preview is consistent however.
