I use the skirts to check squish via endoscope attached to the hotend. It would be awesome if I could slow the skirt down to verify the squish, and then do a faster first layer.

tried this out.
First Proccess "skirt" - set the skirt speed like you want.
zero out everything else. Top, Bottom layers, Outline, Infill, Solid Infill Threshold
Second Process "model" - like you want for the model and turn off /uncheck the skirt/brim.
When it slices it will warn you that it is printing the same model twice which it really is not. just say "Yes"
it is a work around.
