Volume Based Prime for dynamic layer height

To change filament you need to push out the remaining filament you were using and so we have a prime tower. Adaptive layer height makes the size of the tower a real issue with filament usage. My prints come out striped OR I have to have a massive prime tower that is largely filled with the filament about to be used and not just dumping the leftover on changeover.

I suggest that you have a setting on the prime tower configuration that is 'mm^3' OR just 'mm of filament' to prime. You then use this to calculate the size of a prime tower (X,Y) at 100% infill for your smallest adaptive layer height used in the model. Then, for all other layer heights, you modify the infill percentage down to the value so that you move the same VOLUME of filament out of the head thus always cleaning out the right amount of filament with less waste.
