Simplify3D User Forum

I'm sure there's something simple I'm missing but this is what happens;
Install/upgrade from 4 to 5, loaded up same STL model. I copied the same settings I had with version 4.
Simplify3D v4 print time: 1.5 hours
Simplify3D v5+ print time: 4 hours.

Has this happened to anyone else? I even just used the default settings and print was much more time consuming than version 4.

Can you post the gcode files from both versions? It's hard to give any suggestions without seeing the specific files or settings you are using.

One other idea might be to go to Help > Configuration Assistant, and re-download the profile for that machine. At least that way you know you are using the stock settings without any changes that might impact print time.
