Bridging solid layers

Hi, I'm having issues with my prints. Seems my printed item is printing a solid layer and looking for a way to disable it. I have tried multiple suggestions but no luck. The area im talking about is the yellow area. I have adjusted a few settings in the "other tab" but still printing the layers in the middle of the print. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Bridging solid layers

Is the original 3D geometry some kind of cylinder without any sort of material in the middle? If so, it's possible the extra layer is being added due to issues with the STL file. I would recommend following some of the checks outlined on this page:
https://www.simplify3d.com/resources/ar ... sh-errors/

In particular, the different region repair modes at the bottom of that page can sometimes deal with problematic geometry to stop the issue.

Thanks Jason for the quick reply and link you provided. I am going to look into the recommendation and hopefully get it squared away.
