Max Volumetric Flow caps

Max Volumetric flow appears to clamp hard on that rate, but not for each individual option, such as infill speed.

If I set the max volumetric flow to what I calculated it to be, and I input that, then I set the speed to something stupid, and all the options to varying percentages of that, it will always just cap out at the max flow and not the percentage of the max flow.

Re: Max Volumetric Flow caps

If you are referring to the percentages on the Speed tab, then yes, that is correct. Those are speed percentages, not flow rate percentages.

When you enable the max flow limit, the idea is that it lets you print at whatever speed, extrusion width, etc that you want, but if the flow rate ever goes above what your extruder is capable of it will slow down the speed until it gets below that limit. This way you move as fast as you can without exceeding what the extruder can keep up with.
