Question about deactivating licence,

in case i want to go back and forth on my work pc and office pc?

is that like simple logout/login type, or?

fusion 360 student licence has that option for using multiple pc, just logout and login on other machine.

We offer both standard and floating licenses. The floating license is the license type that is intended to seamlessly move between different computers as you described. A standard license is only intended to be used on a single machine (although you can move it to a new computer occasionally, such as when upgrading to a new laptop).
