Simplify3D User Forum

Just bought Simplify3D today and already loving it! Finally managed to downgrade my XYZPrinting DaVinci to a compatible firmware and have already done a few successful prints.

I'm having trouble getting the live preview to work though. I can watch the simulated animation fine, but after I start print (via USB), the extruder in the preview window does not move from the origin. Is this feature only supported on certain printers?

I don't think the da vinci printers provide enough feedback to enable the live preview tracking. That's probably why it isn't happening

Ahhh that sucks.. guess I'll look into hacking Reprap firmware on there
