Factory File Support Doesnt Save

Hi,

I use Simplify3D all the time and since the 2.2.0 update I have notices that support structure that I have placed vanishes when I save a Factory File.

Ok so what happens; I add support to an item, duplicate the model as I want 2 models with the same support, I then save as a Factory File. When I go to reopen the Factory File a day later all the support structure is gone and Simplify adds its own automatic support, which is consequently in the wrong place. I then print and half way through the print I notice that the supports are all wrong and realise what has happened! rather annoying.

Is anyone else finding this??? and can it be fixed please :).

Thanks,
Lukas

Yup, I just ran across this, too. Didn't do too much with manual supports before. Is this a new "feature" of 2.2.0?

Glad to hear im not the only one seeing this. And I agree that this needs a quick fix... I print a lot of batch prints for selling and this bug will make it almost non-economical as it will take so long to add supports each time I want to print a batch.

Hope this get fixed soon. I have emails Simplify 3D so they are aware of the issue.

Noticed this the day 2.20 came out and emailed them. Their response said they would look into it "ASAP". I'm going to follow up in a few days.

Same problem here. In previous versions, when I re-open a factory file, my original support strategy is there.
