Hello,

I noticed in the windows verion I can easily print part http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:23968

but in the linux version it does the outline maybe 3 layers then stops the z starts going down then it just quits, same gcode from windows fails and re-making gcode in the linux version still fails.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Brad

Brad,

Are you printing the G-Code from the SD card? If it's the same G-Code from the Windows version, I can't imagine any reason why it would fail from the SD card on Linux... If you are streaming the G-Code to your machine via a USB connection, try one test print via SD card so we can see if that is the problem.

Hello,

Yep tried the original from the windows gcode from the usb and the sd card and both had the same behavior.

Tried re-creating the gcode and ran through the usb and sdcard and still both failed.

These were all sent through netfabb and tested to be manifold.

Updated to 1.1.4 and still failing, it does the first three layers and then stops the y and x motors then it starts to go down on the z.

Havent had any issues so far with printing from the sdcard with any other prints.
