Leapfrog PLA on a Flash Forge creator Dual

I have the following problem when i print using fillament from leapfrog (PLA)
it works fine for a couple of layers min.
im printing the marvin keychain. it keeps printing till it gets to the belly then it gets wrong.
it seems like the filament isn't coming out of the extruder and it gets stuck around the wheel inside the extruder.

i tryed to raise the printingspeed up to 90 mm/sec
still the same problem
i raised the printing temp from 190 to 230 C
no luck.

what els can i do?

I've seen this problem before and it's usually because the fans blowing on the drive gear (the motor) have gotten turned off somehow. When that happens, the filament in the drive gear heats up and softens, which leads to it bending around the drive block (the wheel). Check to see if your fans are on and that your heat sinks are in place. I don't recommend raising your temperature (though my typical printing temperature with the FlashForge is 230 anyway). Raising the printing speed might work in theory, because you'll use your filament faster and perhaps not give it enough time to heat up and soften. Does this happen with other filament types or filament manufacturers?

The fans are blowing al the time.
The dont shutdown or stop during printing.
And its happend two with the colorfabb xt
And the leapfrog glow in the dark.

The 2 free spools i got by the ffc are working fine (abs)

Ah, ok. If I'm not mistaken, the FlashForge is designed as a clone as the Replicator 2X, which is intended to print in abs, and has much more trouble with PLA. I assume that the drive gear isn't skipping at all during the layers that are printing properly? If so, you might need to print a filament filter like http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:492067. My Flashforge prints PLA at 215 degrees, 60 mm/s while extruding and 80 mm/s travel speed. If all else fails, try slicing with Makeware with the Replicator 1 (Dual) machine settings. If that works, you might want to copy its settings and iterate from there.

EDIT: Actually, I think that the Flashforge is closer to the Replicator 1 Dual. Still, try what I said above.
