Da Vinci 2.0 Resetting Problem

Howdy,

Has anyone ever figured out a workflow to reduce the occurrences of a Da Vinci resetting during upload? If I have a hires model I often times have to retry 10 to 20 times before it prints. Sometimes it gets all the way through and then the printer sits there like nothing happened. This is very frustrating as the glue tends to dry up while just getting the model uploaded.

Cheers,
Jonathan

Update your firmware. This is a known problem with older da Vinci firmwares. The newer versions perform a lot better.

I have the most recent version. Tech support told me to replace the crappy USB cable for one that has a ferrite core. That did the trick, it happens much less now.

A commonly overlooked solution! Not all USB cables are created equal

I searched everywhere and there are no USB 2 cables to be found with an inductor on one end.
