Raft settings etc

So i have a print that will NOT stop curling... but its a customer print, not my own so i cant edit it.

I am looking to do a raft... everytime in the past (not with simplify 3d) i do a raft its a nightmare to take off, and leaves a ton of residue, or the part looks terrible.

What are some solid settings i should use (abs) to make it come off easy, and leave very little artifacts on the print.
thank you guys and gals.

Re: Raft settings etc

Have you tried using a brim? Set the skirt offset to 0, layers 3 and how ever many perimeters you want. I never use a raft. A brim helps to hold the part solid to the bed, the bottom is a clean surface and the brim breaks right off when your done.

Re: Raft settings etc

To get a raft to peel off better all you have to do is increase the separation between the raft and the part. The latest version went a little overboard with the separation distance but it still might work for you.
