How to have easier to remove supports ?

Hello,

I am using a Davinci 2.0 duo with Simplify3D 2.2.1. I very much like the software, however, I noticed that the supports print a lot denser than the ones generated by the XYZ software. I set the support infill percentage to 10% but that did not seem to help.

I would like to be able to print as weak as possible supports to be able to remove easily.

Any suggestions on what I could adjust ?

Be sure you have you horizontal offset to around.5mm and you have your top and bottom seperation layer set to 1

I find that if I soak my prints in REAL hot water for a couple minutes, the supports are easier to take off.
