TAZ 4 - Top layers have holes on edges

I've been using Simplify3D with my TAZ 4, and while I've been pretty happy with the software, I keep having this issue on my prints. I've attached a couple photos that show what I mean. I'm using the ABS - Medium presets with these changes:

Increased extrusion width from 0.40mm to 0.42mm
Changed filament diameter from 3.0mm to 2.9mm
Increased infill outline overlap from 15% to 40%

Any thoughts or solutions?

You might want to try lowering the speed for your outer-most solid layers. You can find that option on the Other tab with the rest of the speed settings (I think it's called solid infill underspeed). It looks like your outer layers are peeling away, which means you aren't getting a good bond with the layer above. Printing them a bit slower would probably help avoid that.

Your infill is low so when its putting the solid layers over top, the end of the line isnt landing on anthing or the infill isnt print clean. The solution is alot of small changes. Try lowering your temp just a touch. 5-10 deg should be fine. Also make sure your extrusion width is set on auto or above.above is better. Increase your top layer by 1 and also increase your infill % a little.. If your infill looks all broken or choppy before it puts the cap on it then increase the infill extrusion width to about 140. If you do this you will definatly need to increase the infill %. At 140 make sure your outline overlap is a out 30%
