Removed support reappears in path after preiviewing

I have 1mm spacing from model for support, and 1mm extended support. I removed support inside some screw bosses, works fine. If I increase "Extra Inflation Distance" to 2mm, some of that support is added back into the center of the round boss, even though I manually removed it during the model preview.

pictures and a factory file would definitely help!

Attached. You can see I manually removed support inside all four bosses, but the tool path shows two of them still get support.

What is your inflation distance? Enough to jump over the wall into the hole?

Anything above 1.2mm will cause this. I suppose it will be enough to jump over, but since I physically removed manual support from those holes, the software should have prevented any overflow of support material into that area. Just seems like a simple bug...

I've disabled supports completely in my process and when I go to preview S3D keeps adding them back in for one of my parts. I can't figure out how to disable it and it's putting supports in a place where there should not be any!

jrebeiro - post a factory file and I'm sure someone will be able to tell you what you did wrong

andre - it sounds like the software is doing exactly what you are telling it to. If you tell the support material to expand 1.2mm in every direction, it's going to do exactly that. Don't expand the supports so much if you don't want it moving that far outward.

I had a few issues going on and I was confusing them. This was simply a case of me selecting the wrong process while generating gcode... derp :/

No. If I specifically remove support from an area, the software should NOT allow support to flow back into that area, no matter how much I extend support past the object. It is a simple Boolean operation. They should track user's manual removal of support and mark those coordinates as "no support allowed".

And, the reason for extending support further is that at only 1mm outside from the perimeter of my object, the support still exhibits a bit of a rim from the nozzle changing direction. I rather push support out 3mm or more so that the object sits on smooth constant support base.

And, it is a bug since when I expand it this far, some layers get support added back in, and others don't. It is as if the slicer just gets confused on what to do in those areas.
