Unable to completely fill the object in a certain infill orientation

Hi all,

I wish to print an ASTM D638 Type 1 dog-bone test specimen with a linear infill pattern and 0° infill orientation so that all the infill lines are along the length of the object. Please see the images attached. I am using a 0.6mm nozzle.

However, whatever print parameters I set, the generated print path always leaves out hollow portion along the edges of the object. And it is actually transferred to the printed object as well. I am relatively new to this software and would love if anyone can suggest me some tips to solve this issue.

Thank you.

You can go to Edit Process Settings > Infill tab, and adjust the "Infill Extrusion Width" percentage until you find a value that works well for you.

It may also help to slightly increase the "Outline Overlap" percentage (on that same Infill tab) by another 10-20%.

Using those 2 settings, you should be able to eliminate the spaces.
